The Tokyo Revengers franchise announced on Dec 18, 2021, that the anime will get a new adaptation which will cover the manga’s “Seiya Kessen” (“Christmas Showdown”) arc. The announcement was made during the ~Tokyo Manjikai Tachikawa Touring~ event,
A commemorative teaser for the new arc was also released during the Tokyo Revengers event featuring the impressive scenes up to “Blood Halloween Edition”.

The main character voice actors for Yuuki Shin, Manjiro Sano, Yu Hayashi, Keisuke Baji, Masaaki Underwater, Chifuyu Matsuno, Sho Karino, Takashi Mitsuya, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, Ryohei Hayashi, Yukihiro Nozuyama, and Hajime Hamiya were in attendance at the event.
In addition, the event also revealed that the franchise will get an app game for iOS and Android. The game’s staff will reveal more information at a later date.
The first season of the anime premiered on Apr 10, 2021, and it ran for 2 consecutive cours. The anime aired for 24 episodes.
Ken Wakui’s Tokyo Revengers, has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine since March 2017. Liden Films adapted the first season and it aired from April to September 2021.
A live-action film adaptation was also broadcasted in Japan in July 2021. As of September 2021, the manga had over 40 million copies in circulation. The manga won the 44th Kodansha Manga Award for the shōnen category in 2020.
