The organizers for the pop culture festival “Tokyo Comic Convention (Tokyo Comic Con) 2021” announced on friday that event no longer take place due to the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Additionally, the staff also announced a good new that the plans for Tokyo Comic Con 2022 next year, as well as the first Osaka Comic Con are still in place.

Tokyo Comic Con 2022 will take place from November 25 to 27 at Makuhari Messe (Mihama-ku, Chiba City) while Osaka Comic Con 2022 will start from early summer 2022 or later at the Intex Osaka(Suminoe, Osaka City) venue.

Tokyo Comic Con 2021 was about to take place from December 3 to 5.

Last year’s Tokyo Comic Con 2020 event was held online due to COVID-19.

“Comic Book Convention” is an annual pop culture festival in early July in San Diego, USA. The “Tokyo Comic Con” started for the first time in 2016.
