Dandadan creator Yukinobu Tatsu expressed his admiration for Centuria by Tohru Kuramori. The author’s comment appears on the obi of the third volume of the series, which was released on Jan 4, 2024.
Yukinobu commended Kuramori’s distinctive penmanship, noting that it evokes a sense of resentment, yet the narrative remains heartwarming, highlighting human kindness amidst a cruel world.

Kuramori expressed his gratitude for the endorsement on X, stating, “The third volume of Centuria is out today, January 4th! The obi comment was written by Tatsu Yukinobu, the creator of Dandadan! I’m so happy! Thank you so much 🦀🦀🦀!“.
He also encouraged readers to support the series, explaining, “Apparently, if it gets reprinted, the chances of it being canceled decrease, so please buy it! Thank you 🦀!“
Centuria has been serialized in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ app and website since April 2024, with its chapters collected in two tankobon volumes as of October 2024.
