TMS Opens TMS-Lab Project To Create Original Manga, Novels, Web Videos

Motion comics with English subtitles for some of the manga will be streamed on their official YouTube channel.

Animation studio TMS Entertainment launched a new project titled, “Original Story Workshop TMS-Lab,” on April 21, 2022. An official website for the same is now open.

TMS Lab Project aims “to create a future with a sustainable Japanese anime industry.” Its goal is to provide a space where animation firms may collaborate with creators to create, deliver, and nurture primary source works such as manga, novels, web videos, and so on.

The novels and video works will also be digitally output in a variety of forms.

Motion comics with English subtitles for some of the manga will be streamed on their official YouTube channel.

The line up so far includes PLANT PLANETZ: Seed of Destruction by Kamui Fujiwara, Kommunismus by Daisuke Nishijima, Space Idol Odyssey illustrated by SAA (story: Space idol Project), Hamukatsu! illustrated by Shi Hanahada (story: TMS-Lab).
