The official twitter account of The Promised Neverland manga revealed a special illustration featuring the main characters on Aug 1, 2022, to celebrate the sixth anniversary of the manga.
The first chapter of The Promised Neverland was published in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump on Aug 1, 2016.
The first 66 chapters of the manga have also been made available to read for free on Jump+ and Zeblack platforms to celebrate the milestone. The chapters will be free to read till Aug 14, 2022.
The manga’s author also posted a special message to fans, thanking them for their support and asking them to take the opportunity to read the free chapters of The Promised Neverland.
The Promised Neverland manga currently has 41 million copies in circulation. A live action adaptation by Amazon is currently underway for the series.
Additionally, Viz Media recently announced that they will be releasing Beyond The Promised Neverland, a collection of short stories that chronicle the lives of Norman, Emma, and Rey before and after their time at the Grace Field House.
The project was announced as a part of the manga’s 5th year anniversary celebration.
The Promised Neverland is a manga series written by Kaiu Shirai and illustrated by Posuka Demizu. It was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump until June 2020, with its chapters collected in twenty tankōbon volumes.
In North America, Viz Media licensed the manga for English release and serialized it on their digital Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The series follows a group of orphaned children in their plan to escape from their orphanage, after learning the dark truth behind their existence and the purpose of the orphanage.
