The official website for The Duke of Death and His Maid (Shinigami Bocchan to Kuro Maid) TV anime announced that the second season of the anime will be broadcast in 2023.
The sequel was first announced during the first season’s finale in September 2021.
At Studio J.C. Staff, Yoshiki Yamakawa directed the first season released in Japan in July 2021. The series was composed by Hideki Shirane, while the characters were designed by Mitsuru Kuwabata. The CGI was created by Shogakukan Music & Digital Entertainment.

It was also revealed on the Shogakukan’s Sunday Webry manga app that Koharu Inoue‘s The Duke of Death and His Maid manga ended with chapter 223 on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.

The manga entered its climax with its 14th compiled book volume in November 2021. The 15th volume is scheduled to release on June 10, while the final 16th volume will be released on July 12.
