The official website of upcoming TV anime The Day I Became a God announced the director and voice actor Hina. The news was revealed in a special commemorative program for the show which was aired on TOKYO MX today.
Yoshiyuki Asai, who previously worked on Charlotte, will serve as the director of the anime while Ayane Sakure, who is known for her roles as Iroha Isshiki in My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU and Ochaco Uraraka in My Hero Academia, will be voicing the main heroine Hina.
The story for The Day I Became a God was originally conceived by Jun Maeda, who is also in charge of the screenplay. The character designs will be handled by Na-Ga, who previously worked with Jun Maeda on Angel Beats and Charlotte. The anime is produced by P.A.Works and Aniplex and it is set for an October 2020 premiere.
