The staff of The Ancient Magus’ Bride anime released its second trailer for season two on Feb 9, 2023. The trailer reveals additional casts for season two of the anime along with the second opening theme song.

The opening theme song is titled “Dear” and performed by JUNNA.

The newly announced cast includes:

• Minami Tanaka as Jasmine St. George
• Mari Uchiyama as April Atwood
• Miki Natsutani as May Atwood
• Kousuke Toriumi as Narcisse Maugham
• Mami Koyama as Liza Quillyn
• Sayuri Sadaoka as Lizbeth Sargant

The Ancient Magus Bride Season 2 will release on April 6, 2023, in Japan.

The anime will be broadcast of Tokyo MX (22:00 hrs JST), BS11 and AT-X channels.

Crunchyroll will be streaming the anime worldwide except Asia. In Japan, Prime Video and Hikari TV will stream The Ancient Magus’ Bride Season 2.

Studio Kafka is in charge of animating the upcoming season. New character visuals along with the cast were announced previously.

The Ancient Magus’ Bride is a manga written and illustrated by Kore Yamazaki, with its chapters collected into 17 volumes as of March 2022. It began serialization in Mag Garden’s Monthly Comic Blade magazine from November 2013. It was shifted to Monthly Comic Garden after September 2014 when Comic Blade magazine ceased publishing.

The manga is licensed in North America by Seven Seas Entertainment.

A three-part prequel anime OVA was produced by Wit Studio and an anime television series aired from October 2017 to March 2018.

An original three-part OVA series by Studio Kafka was released in September 2021.
