The official 10th anniversary website of That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime announced on Feb 19, 2023, season 3 of the anime will start airing in Spring 2024.
In addition, it was also revealed that the side story of That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime, Coleus’ Dream, will be getting a 3 episode OVA. It will release in the Fall of 2023.
The plot of Coleus’ Dream is set between the incidents of season 1 and season 2. It is an original short story by Fuse. It follows Rimuru as he stands up to the conspiracies to the Kingdom of Coleus.
Takuma Terashima will perform the opening theme song for the OVA.
Season 1 of the anime adaptation aired from Oct 2, 2018, to March 19, 2019, on Tokyo MX and other channels. The series is animated by Eight Bit. A second season was announced to be a split-season anime. The first half aired from Jan 12 to March 30, 2021, and the second half aired from July 6 to Sep 21, 2021.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is a Japanese fantasy light novel series written by Fuse, and illustrated by Mitz Vah.
Taiki Kawakami launched a manga adaptation in Kodansha’s shōnen manga magazine Monthly Shōnen Sirius on March 26, 2015. Kodansha USA announced their license to the manga during their panel at New York Comic Con on October 6, 2016.
A spin-off manga, titled That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: How Monsters Walk with art by Sho Okagiri, has been serialized on Micro Magazine’s Comic Ride website since July 28, 2016. It then went on to have five more spin-off manga.
