Kyoto Animation’s one of the biggest hit series, Tamako Market has announced a new project to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the series.
The info was announced by the official twitter account of the anime:
However, no further details about the project have been announced.
The Tamako Market anime series ran from January 10, 2013 to March 28, 2013. The series is continued by a movie called Tamako Love Story which was critically acclaimed.
The movie was directed by Naoko Yamada at Kyoto Animation.
Naoko Yamada is famous for directing movies like Silent Voice and Liz and the Blue Bird, anime like K-ON! and Tamako Market.
Her new upcoming movie is titled Kimi No Iro.
The Tamako Market series and the movie are licensed in North America by Sentai Filmworks.
Sentai describes the series as such:
Tamako is just a normal young girl whose family has been making mochi for generations. As her birthday approaches, she happens to meet a talking bird who claims to be a royal court attendant looking for a bride for his master. After the encounter, Dera the bird decides to stay around her and becomes a part of Tamako’s life and the neighborhood that she lives in.
