We wish you all a happy Mid-Autumn Festival! Let’s collect the meeting photos together ♥️!”
The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival or Mooncake Festival, is a traditional festival celebrated in Chinese culture. It is based on the legend of Chang’e, the Moon goddess in Chinese mythology.
It is one of the most important holidays in Chinese culture; its popularity is on par with that of Chinese New Year. The history of the Mid-Autumn Festival dates back over 3,000 years. The festival is held on the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunisolar calendar with a full moon at night, corresponding to mid-September to early October of the Gregorian calendar.
Huang Jie has cosplayed as Kanao Tsuyuri from Demon Slayer anime in the past and also served as a special guest and judge at the National Cosplay Contest held at Kaohsiung City this year as part of the “2022 Summer of Love Kaohsiung MRT Anime Season”.
She cosplayed as a character from the Light Rail Team, one of the mascots for the Kaohsiung Mass Rapid Transit, at the event.
