Spy×Family Anime Reveals Cast For Four Of Anya’s Classmates

All 4 of the Eden Academy students will be appearing in episode 6 of the series.

The official website and Twitter account for popular anime Spy x Family announced 4 new cast members, who will debut in episode 6 as Anya’s classmates at Eden Academy.

The additional casts with character designs are:

  • Natsumi Fujiwara as Damian Desmond (Donovan Desmond’s second son; his father is targeted by Loid)
  • Emiri Kato as Becky Blackbell (Anya’s classmate; her father is a CEO of a military company)
  • Hana Sato as Emile Elman (part of Damian’s entourage and Anya’s classmate)
  • Haruka Okamura as Ewen Egeberg (part of Damian’s entourage and Anya’s classmate)

The previously revealed Spy x Family anime cast includes:

  • Takuya Eguchi as Loid Forger
  • Atsumi Tanezaki as Anya Forger
  • Hiroyuki Yoshino as Franky Franklin
  • Yuko Kaida as Sylvia Sherwood
  • Kazuhiro Yamaji as Henry Henderson

Kazuhiro Furuhashi is directing the anime at Wit Studio and CloverWorks. Kazuaki Shimada is designing the characters, and [K]NoW_NAME is the music producer.

The TV anime premiered in April 2022. New episodes drop every Saturday.

Spy × Family is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo. It has been serialized biweekly on Shueisha’s Shōnen Jump+ application and website since March 2019, with the chapters collected in nine tankōbon volumes as of April 2022.

The manga has exceeded over 350 million reads on the Shonen Jump+ digital platform and over 17 million copies of the collected volumes printed (physically) and sold (digitally) in Japan.

Viz Media has licensed the series for English release in North America.

According to the recent Oricon sales records, Spy x Family became the best-selling series in Japan in April 2022 with most volumes of the same ranking in the volume-wise sales chart. The sales number is mostly boosted by the release of the anime in Spring 2022.
