The official website & Twitter account of Spy X Family anime released a new trailer of the second cour of the season 1 of the anime.

The Twitter account also revealed that BUMP OF CHICKEN will perform the new Opening song “SOUVENIR” which is also premiered in the trailer.

The official Twitter handle for Spy x Family earlier announced that the cour 2 of the anime will start airing on Oct 1, 2022.

Spy x Family anime’s first cour had 12 episodes and it aired from April 9 to June 25, 2022. The animation was handled by Wit Studio and Cloverworks. It became the most streamed anime in Japan thrice in a row, for the months of May, June and July 2022.

The series is directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi, with character designs handled by Kazuaki Shimada, and music produced by [K]NoW_NAME.

Spy × Family is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo. It has been serialized biweekly on Shueisha’s Shōnen Jump+ application and website since March 2019, with the chapters collected in nine tankōbon volumes as of April 2022.

The manga has exceeded over 350 million reads on the Shonen Jump+ digital platform. As of August 2022, the series has over 25 million copies in circulation.

Viz Media has licensed the series for English release in North America.
