Spy x Family stage panel at Anime Japan 2023 revealed on March 26, that season 2 of the anime will release in October 2023.

The staff also revealed the title and release date for the previously announced Spy x Family movie. The movie is titled SPY x FAMILY CODE: White, and it will release on Dec 22, 2023.

A new key visual for the movie was unveiled to commemorate the announcement.

Takashi Katagiri will serve as the director of the movie, with Kazuhiro Furuhashi supervising the animation. Furuhashi will also be directing the second season.

The movie will be an anime original, with Ichiro Okouchi working on the script.

Spy x Family season 1 cour 1, produced by Wit Studio and CloverWorks, premiered on TV Tokyo and its affiliate stations in April 2022, and was licensed by Muse Communication in Asia and Crunchyroll worldwide.

Cour 2 of the anime started airing in Oct 1, 2022.

Spy × Family is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo. The series has been serialized biweekly on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ application and website since March 2019, with the chapters collected in ten tankōbon volumes as of October 2022. It was licensed in North America by Viz Media.

As of December 2022, Spy × Family had over 29 million copies in circulation, making it one of the best-selling manga series.
