As Summer 2023 is coming to an end, introducing fans to a vast array of anime characters that at some point have managed to steal hearts of many, Japanese website AnimeAnime conducted a reader survey titled “Which Character Did You Fall in Love with at First Sight in the 2023 Summer Anime?”.

The survey aimed to identify which female characters left the strongest first impressions during the summer season. It was held from Aug 4 to Aug 11, garnering responses from over 1,101 participants.

The gender ratio of those who participated in the survey was approximately 20% male, 75% female, and around 5% chose not to specify their gender, with a larger number of female respondents.

In terms of age distribution, around 65% were under 19 years old, and about 15% were in their 20s, indicating a predominance of younger participants.
