Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment announced a change to the release schedule of Solo Leveling -ReAwakening- anime film in India.
Initially slated for Dec 6, 2024, the movie will now be released two days earlier in theaters on Dec 4, 2024.
Solo Leveling -ReAwakening- is a compilation film featuring a recap of the anime’s first season along with a preview of the first two episodes from the upcoming second season.
The compilation film released in Japan on Nov 29, 2024.

Solo Leveling -ReAwakening- features a catch-up recap of the first season coupled with an exclusive sneak peek of the first two episodes of the highly anticipated second season in one momentous theatrical fan experience.
Over a decade has passed since a pathway called a “gate” which connects this world and another dimension suddenly appeared, and people with superhuman powers called “hunters” have been awakened. Hunters use their superhuman powers to conquer dungeons inside the gates to make a living, and Sung Jinwoo, a hunter of the lowest rank, is considered the Weakest Hunter of All Mankind. One day, he encounters a double dungeon, a high-level dungeon hidden inside a low-level one. In front of a severely wounded Jinwoo, a mysterious quest window pops up. On the verge of death, Jinwoo decides to take on the quest, which makes him the only person who can level up.
Solo Leveling season 1 produced by A-1 Pictures aired from January to March 2024. A second season is set to premiere in January 2025.
Crunchyroll streamed the first season in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, and India.
Medialink licensed the series in Southeast Asia and Oceania (except Australia and New Zealand).
Solo Leveling is a South Korean web novel written by Chugong. It was serialized in Kakao’s digital comic and fiction platform KakaoPage beginning on July 25, 2016, and was later published by D&C Media under their Papyrus label since November 4, 2016. The novel has been licensed in English by Yen Press.
A webtoon adaptation of Solo Leveling was first serialized in KakaoPage on March 4, 2018; it was illustrated by Jang Sung-rak (Dubu). The webtoon’s first season concluded on March 19, 2020, and its second season was released from August 2020 to December 2021. Its individual chapters have been collected and published by D&C Media in eleven volumes as of June 2024.
A Korean drama adaptation is in development, and spin-off webtoon Solo Leveling: Ragnarok premiered in August 2024.
