The official Twitter handle for Rent A Girlfriend anime announced on Sep 16, 2022, towards the end of season 2, that it’ll be returning for a third season. The final episode of the second season aired on Sep 16.

The staff also shared an announcement video featuring chibi Chizuru, Mami, Sumi, and Ruka.

In addition, the Twitter account of Rent A Girlfriend is conducting a giveaway of the recording script of the 24th episode, which is signed by the cast.

Moreover, a special event, where all the cast members of season 2 of the anime will be present, will take place on March 2023.

More information on Season 3 of the anime will be revealed at a later date.

Rent-A-Girlfriend is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Reiji Miyajima. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine since July 2017, and has been compiled into twenty-eight volumes as of September 2022. The series is licensed in North America by Kodansha USA, which released the first volume in English in June 2020.

An anime television series adaptation by TMS Entertainment aired from July to September 2020 on MBS’s Super Animeism block. A second season aired from July to September 2022.
