In the previous war with the empire, the military of the Kingdom of Re-Estize suffered catastrophic damage.
Furthermore, the magical kingdom lost E-Rantel, and the kingdom’s power declined. The second prince Zanac, with the help of his sister Princess Renner, is struggling to rebuild the country.

Then, news arrives that a delegation from the magical land is coming.

The leader of the delegation, Albedo, Prime Minister of the Magic Kingdom, overwhelms the nobles with her goddess-like grace. However, a shabby nobleman by the name of Philip approaches Albedo and asks for her help.

Crunchyroll announced at the recent anime expo that Overlord Season 4 has been added to its Summer 2022 anime slate.

Fans from North America, Central America, South America, Africa, Oceania and CIS can stream Overlord Season 4 Episode 2 on the platform.

The anime will be officially airing on AT-X, TOKYO MX, MBS, TV Aichi, BS 11 and other channels in Japan.

Overlord Season 4 is being animated by Madhouse. The key cast and staff from previous seasons are returning for the fourth season of the anime. The fourth season is set to have 13 episodes.

The returning cast members include:

Kugane Maruyama began the original Overlord light novel series online in 2010, and Kadokawa’s Enterbrain imprint began publishing the series in print with illustrations by so-bin in 2012. Satoshi Shio began the manga adaption, with art by Hugin Miyama, and started serializing in Kadokawa Shoten’s manga magazine, Comp Ace, on Nov 26, 2014.

Maruyama confirmed in the 14th compiled book volume of his original Overlord novel series on March 12 that the series will end with the 17th volume.

The anime television series adaptation by Madhouse consists of 3 seasons with 13 episodes each, with the first season airing from July 7 to Sep 29, 2015. Two compilation anime films recapping the events from the first season were released in Japan on Feb 25, 2017, and March 11, 2017, respectively. The second season ran from Jan 9 to April 3, 2018, and the third season ran from July 10 to Oct 2, 2018.
