The fourth season of isekai smash hit anime Overlord is finally set to air after a long wait. Overlord IV will pick off from where season 3 ended and continue to follow the main character Ainz Ooal Gown and his exploits in the MMORPG world he got transported to as an undead.

With the help of excellent NPCs such as Albedo and the undead who can work tirelessly and without sleep. The magical land is a safe and hunger-free place. However, the people who live there still have fears and anxieties. The city is quiet as if a fire has gone out, and the liveliness of the past has been lost.

With no answers in sight, Ainz visited the Adventurers’ Guild alone. He makes a proposal to Einsack, the head of the union.

Crunchyroll announced at the recent anime expo that Overlord Season 4 has been added to its Summer 2022 anime slate.

Fans from North America, Central America, South America, Africa, Oceania and CIS can stream Overlord Season 4 Episode 1 on the platform.

The anime will be officially airing on AT-X, TOKYO MX, MBS, TV Aichi, BS 11 and other channels in Japan.

Overlord Season 4 is being animated by Madhouse. The key cast and staff from previous seasons are returning for the fourth season of the anime. The fourth season is set to have 13 episodes.

Kugane Maruyama began the original Overlord light novel series online in 2010, and Kadokawa’s Enterbrain imprint began publishing the series in print with illustrations by so-bin in 2012. Satoshi Shio began the manga adaption, with art by Hugin Miyama, and started serializing in Kadokawa Shoten’s manga magazine, Comp Ace, on Nov 26, 2014.

Maruyama confirmed in the 14th compiled book volume of his original Overlord novel series on March 12 that the series will end with the 17th volume.

The anime television series adaptation by Madhouse consists of 3 seasons with 13 episodes each, with the first season airing from July 7 to Sep 29, 2015. Two compilation anime films recapping the events from the first season were released in Japan on Feb 25, 2017, and March 11, 2017, respectively. The second season ran from Jan 9 to April 3, 2018, and the third season ran from July 10 to Oct 2, 2018.
