Crunchyroll is set to bring an anime-filled extravaganza to Mumbai Comic Con 2025, unveiling an exciting lineup packed with exclusive guest appearances, live performances, immersive installations, interactive games, and giveaways.
One Piece voice actors Kappei Yamaguchi (Usopp) and Hiroaki Hirata (Sanji) will headline the event for a special panel.
Fans can expect insights into their voice acting journeys, behind-the-scenes stories, and even a live dubbing performance.
Crunchyroll’s booth will also feature a first-of-its-kind “Egghead Island Lab,” a One Piece-themed installation designed to resemble the futuristic setting created by Dr. Vegapunk. Fans will be able to explore the space, pose with themed props, and capture cosplay-ready photos.
In addition, Crunchyroll will host a Kaiju No. 8-themed interactive game titled “Find the Core of Kaiju.” Participants, working in pairs, will have one minute to identify hidden Kaiju cores in a series of mystery boxes.
Winners will receive exclusive Defense Force stickers, while all participants will get limited-edition Kaiju No. 8 collector cards.
Returning to the Comic Con stage is DJ Kazu, who will perform twice daily at the Crunchyroll booth on April 12 (2 p.m. and 4 p.m.) and April 13 (1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.). He will also perform a main stage set at 5:30 p.m. on April 13.
Crunchyroll will also run anime trivia contests throughout the day, both at the booth and on the main stage. Winners will receive Crunchyroll-branded merchandise, including:
- Crunchyroll tote bags
- One Piece paper crowns
- One Piece sticker sheets
- Kaiju No. 8 stickers and collector cards
Fans can also visit the GlamBOT station, where they can strike a pose and record a slow-motion cinematic video in front of the Crunchyroll wall. Each participant will receive a shareable digital keepsake.
Mumbai Comic Con 2025 will be held April 12–13, 2025.
