The official Twitter account of Toei Animation revealed that One Piece Film: Red will take over the Times Square in New York at Oct 8, 2022 between 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

A specially created advertisement with “visually stunning animation” will be synchronised and played across the billboards encircling the Times Square.

The ad will be played as a part of the New York Comic Con in order to celebrate One Piece Film: Red.

It was previously announced that the cast and crew of One Piece Film: Red will be making an appearance at the NYCC.

One Piece Film: Red will be releasing in United States on Nov 4, 2022. Tickets for the movie will go on sale on Oct 6, 2022, for U.S.

The movie opened in Japan on Aug 6, 2022, collecting over 2 billion yen in its first weekend.

Goro Taniguchi returns to the franchise for the first time since 1998 to direct One Piece Film: Red. Tsutomu Kuroiwa will be in charge of the screenplay. TOEI Animation is animating the film with original author Eiichiro Oda serving as executive producer.

The movie features and centers on the mysterious character Uta, who is teased to be Shanks daughter in the teaser. Uta is voiced by Kaori Nazuka (voice cast) and Ado (singing cast).

Crunchyroll describes the movie as:
