One Piece Film Red Reveals New Trailer At 25th Anniversary Special Livestream

The movie held its world premiere at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo.

The special livestream celebrating the 25th anniversary of One Piece manga streamed the second trailer for One Piece Film Red.

The trailer features the song ‘Kaze no Yukue’ composed by Motohiro Hata and sung by Uta’s voice actor Ado. An English subtitled version of the trailer was streamed specifically in the English live-stream.

The movie’s worldwide premiere was held at the Nippon Budokan in Japan on July 22, 2022, which is also celebrated as the One Piece day.

One Piece Film: Red, which is the fourth instalment in the One Piece Film franchise, is set to release in Japan on Aug 6, 2022.

The movie will be released in IMAX, MX4D, 4DX, DOLBY ATMOS versions from the opening day.

Goro Taniguchi returns to the franchise for the first time since 1998 to direct One Piece Film: Red. Tsutomu Kuroiwa will be in charge of the screenplay. Toei Animation is animating the film with original author Eiichiro Oda serving as executive producer.

The movie features and centers on the mysterious character Uta, who is teased to be Shanks daughter in the teaser. Uta’s character design was revealed on March 28, 2022.
