The official account of One Piece Film Red launched a new trailer on the occasion of commemorating the movie’s success on the Japanese box office. The trailer focuses on the relationship between Uta, Luffy and Shanks. It shows more of Shanks background in the trailer. The trailer may contain spoiler for those who haven’t watched the movie.

The official Twitter account of the movie also released a video showing French anime fans going for the movie and enjoying it.

It further revealed that the movie has had the highest opening for anime film in France and have had sold up to 1 million tickets. The movie is still running in theatres.

The movie will be released in United States in October.

PVR Cinemas announced on Aug 26 that they will release the movie in Indian theatres on October 7, 2022.

On Aug 11, PVR cinemas placed standees across multiple theatres in Mumbai revealing that One Piece Film Red will release in India in October 2022.

Goro Taniguchi returns to the franchise for the first time since 1998 to direct One Piece Film: Red. Tsutomu Kuroiwa will be in charge of the screenplay. TOEI Animation is animating the film with original author Eiichiro Oda serving as executive producer.

The other staff that have been announced for the movie include:

The main cast from the previous movies will be reprising their roles in the movie.

The movie features and centers on the mysterious character Uta, who is teased to be Shanks daughter in the teaser. Uta is voiced by Kaori Nazuka (voice cast) and Ado (singing cast).

Crunchyroll describes the movie as:

Renowned for concealing her own identity when performing, her voice has come to be described as “otherworldly.” Now, for the first time ever, Uta will reveal herself to the world at a live concert.
