Oggy and the Cockroaches is returning to Sony YAY! on Jan 6, 2025 with episodes airing daily at 1 p.m.
The animated series, popular among Indian audiences, follows the comedic struggles of Oggy, a cat whose leisurely life is disrupted by three troublesome cockroaches.
The French animated series, created by Jean-Yves Raimbaud, originally premiered on Sep 6, 1998, on France 3. It concluded on Jan 30, 2019, after seven seasons and 169 episodes.
Produced by Gaumont Multimedia (seasons 1–2) and Xilam Animation (seasons 3–7), the show is recognized for its slapstick humor reminiscent of classic cartoons like Tom and Jerry.
Oggy and the Cockroaches first debuted on Sony YAY! in India on Oct 11, 2021.
The channel promoted its launch with an extensive campaign designed to engage children across various platforms.
