New Trailer For Sailor Moon’s Second Movie Released

Mitsuishi, who also voices Usagi Tsukino/Sailor Moon, is also reprising her role as Chibi Chibi from the previous anime.

The official Youtube channel for the Sailor Moon series has released a brand-new trailer for the Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos The Movie‘s second installation.

The movie is adapting the final Shadow Galactica arc of the original Sailor Moon manga by Naoko Takeuchi.

Previously, a key visual featuring Sailor Moon, Sailor Galaxia holding the Sailor Crystal, Princess Kakyuu and Sailor Starlights had also been revealed.

The voice actors also spoke about their roles as the Sailor Moon characters.

Sailor Moon Cosmos is the final part of the series Shadow Galactica which will be released as a two-part movie. Part 1 of the movie is set to release on June 9 whereas the second part will release on June 30, 2023.

Sailor Moon is a popular Shoujo manga published in Kodansha from 1992 to 1997 and made by Naoko Takeuchi. The story revolved around Usagi Tsukino a clumsy and crybaby who can transform into a warrior with love and justice.

The manga has 46 million copies in circulation globally and 2022 marked the 30th anniversary of the series.

The new Sailor Moon Crystal anime was produced in 2012 as part of the 20th-anniversary project. However, the first and second seasons of the anime were aired in 2014 and 2015, respectively.

Whereas, the third season was aired in 2016 and the 4th season was released as a movie Sailor Moon Eternal in 2021. Crunchyroll, Niconico, and Hulu streamed the season.

The first three seasons of the Sailor Moon Star series were released by Viz Media in North America. The company also releases the first season on DVD & DVD/Blu-Ray disc combo pack.
