The first teaser for the final season of My Hero Academia was released on June 16, offering fans a preview of the anime’s concluding arc.
The teaser features a clash between All Might, wearing an armoured mechanical suit, and All For One. The video also shows Deku confronting Shigaraki, setting the stage for the anime’s final battles.
The eighth and final season of My Hero Academia will start airing in October 2025.
The anime first premiered in April 2016 with a 13-episode debut season. Since then, a new season has aired almost every year. Season 2 ran from April to September 2017, followed by season 3 in 2018, season 4 from October 2019 to April 2020, and season 5 in 2021. Season 6 aired from October 2022 to March 2023, and the seventh season ran from May to October 2024.
Currently, the spin-off series My Hero Academia: Vigilantes is airing, having premiered on April 7, 2025.
My Hero Academia is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi. It was serialized in Shueisha’s shonen manga magazine Weekly Shonen Jump from July 2014 to August 2024, with its chapters collected in 42 tankobon volumes.
