The official website of the upcoming AI no Idenshi anime announced on Feb 10, 2023, that it will start airing in July 2023.

The site also unveiled the scene cuts of the anime along with the announcement. Check them out below:

AI no Idenshi anime is being produced by Madhouse and directed by Yuzo Sato, with Ryunosuke Kingetsu serving as the scriptwriter. Kei Tsuchiya will be handling character designs along with serving as the chief animation director. Takashi Ohmama and Natsumi Tabuchi will be composing the music for the anime.

Cast includes:

• Takeo Otsuka as Hikaru Sudo
• Yume Miyamoto as Risa Higuchi

AI no Idenshi is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kyuri Yamada. It was serialized in Akita Shoten’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shonen Champion from November 2015 to August 2017, with its chapters collected into eight tankobon volumes.

A sequel manga, AI no Idenshi: Red Queen, was serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Champion from October 2017 to June 2019, and has been collected into five volumes. A third series, AI no Idenshi: Blue Age, has been serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Champion since July 2020, and has been collected into five volumes as of December 2022.
