Spider Lily and Asaura’s original anime Lycoris Recoil is getting adapted into a stage play, which will open in Japan in January 2023.
The play will be performed at Tennozu Galaxy Theater in Tokyo from Jan 7-15, 2023.
An official website that has been launched to commemorate the announcement revealed the main cast and staff that are involved in the stage play adaptation.
Cast members include:
- Misato Kawachi as Chisato Nishikigi
- Ayakiho Honnishi as Takina Inoue
- Nonoka Obuchi as Kurumi
- Mieko Ishii as Mizuki Nakahara
- Keigo Kitamura as Mika
- Marina Tanoue as Fuki Harukawa
- Saiki Sakura as Otome Sakura
Staff includes:
- Director: Akira Yamazaki
- Screenplay: Hosakayo
Lycoris Recoil anime was produced by A-1 Pictures and aired from July 2 to September 24, 2022.
A manga adaptation by Yasunori Bizen began serialization in Media Factory’s manga magazine Monthly Comic Flapper on Sep 5, 2022, and a spin-off light novel, titled Lycoris Recoil: Ordinary Days by Asaura was published under ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Bunko on Sep 9, 2022.
