The compiled volume 21 of Kenjiro Hata’s Tonikaku Kawaii revealed that the mangaka’s entirety of manga works have crossed 25 million copies in circulation.

Tonikaku Kawaii is his latest work.

The official website of Tonikaku Kawaii announced on Sep 12, 2022, that the special episode of the series, titled TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You ~Uniform~, will be broadcast on Nov 22, 2022.

In addition, the full video of Tsukasa’s kitchen song has also been revealed on Sep 11. The song was composed by Pero and Kohei Yokono.

The official website describes the plot for TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You ~Uniform~ as:

Tsukasa and Nasa lead a happy newlywed life at the Arisugawa family. While they had a fateful encounter, they had no experience of normal high school romance or uniform dating, but with Aya’s guidance, Tsukasa will wear a uniform. Nasa can’t hide his excitement when he sees Tsukasa in a uniform that he doesn’t usually see…

Tonikaku Kawaii-Fly Me To The Moon- anime’s second season is still in production.

Returning cast Junya Enoki, Kito Akari will play Nasa Yuzaki and Tsukasa Yuzaki respectively.

Fly Me to the Moon, also known outside Japan as Tonikawa: Over the Moon for You, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kenjiro Hata. It has been serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shōnen Sunday since February 2018. As of June 17, 2022, twenty volumes have been published.

In North America, the manga is licensed by Viz Media. As of May 10, 2022, eleven volumes have been released by Viz.

A twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by Seven Arcs Studios, directed by Hiroshi Ikehata and scripts were written by Kazuho Hyodo, released from October 2020 to December 2020. An OVA titled Tonikaku Kawaii: SNS premiered on August 18.
