After 2 TV anime seasons and a mobile game, as the official announcement reveals “there is no escape from isekai!” anytime soon. On July 6, the official website of “Isekai Quartet” revealed that the series will return with a new movie in 2022.
The website unveiled a promotional video, returning staff, and a key visual for the “Isekai Quartet The Movie ~Another World~” film.
Minoru Ashina has directed and written the script while Minoru Takehara will make the character design and contribute as chief animation director. Studio Puyukai will take care of the animation, and the TV series staff will return for the film production.
The anime is a crossover series between Re: Zero, Overlord, KONOSUBA, and The Saga of Tanya the Evil franchises.
Meanwhile, fans are waiting for the movie they can watch the “Isekai Quartet” series, both “Isekai Quartet” and “Isekai Quartet 2” which will rebroadcast on TOKYO MX, MBS, and BS11 from July 12th.
Crunchyroll and Funimation both streamed the first season as it aired. Funimation describes the story:
“The button appeared out of nowhere. There weren’t any signs NOT to push it…so the solution is obvious, right? Is it a trap or the start of something new and exciting?
