Shueisha Publications held the Jump Festa ’22 event on Dec 18-19, 2021 in Tokyo, Japan as both an online and in-person event(hybrid event). The two-day event was jam-packed, so here’s a rundown of all the major announcements that were revealed during the event.
DAY 1: December 18, 2021 (Saturday)
SUPER STAGE
Spy x Family
Spy×Family Anime Reveals New PV, Cast, And April 2022 Premiere
The first panel of the Jump Festa 2022 event streamed a new trailer for the TV anime adaptation of Tatsuya Endō‘s SPY×FAMILY manga. The promotional video revealed more cast members and the April 2022 premiere for the anime. Read more here.
Dragon Quest: Adventure of Dai
Dragon Quest: Adventure of Dai stage had a live-reading session by the cast. Nothing new was revealed.
World Trigger
World Trigger Author Unveils New Key Visual
Yuki Kaji, Tomo Muranaka, Junichi Suwabe, as well as Shirou attended the World Trigger Super Stage event. Ashihara Daisuke illustrated a special artwork for Jump Festa ’22.

Suwabe read a letter from the author. It translates as follows:
“Thank you very much for watching the Jump Festa 2022 World Trigger stage! This year has been the most eventful year World Trigger has ever had since our transition to JumpSQ, with the new anime season and stage play.

Boruto & Naruto
Naruto Novels Get Manga Adaptations In 2022
NARUTO & BORUTO stage event at the Jump Festa ’22 announced that two novels, Naruto: Konoha Shinden: Yukemuri Ninpōchō and Naruto: Sasuke’s Story–The Uchiha and the Heavenly Stardust, in the Naruto franchise are getting manga adaptations on the Shonen Jump+ app and website in 2022. Read more here.

Jump Festa Reveals Naruto 20th Year Anniversary Projects
An anniversary logo, a special digest PV, and a teaser visual to commemorate the 20th-anniversary of the Naruto anime series at Jump Festa 2022 were released.
A new key visual and a Kawaki Arc digest PV for the ongoing TV series BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS were also unveiled during the event. Read more here.

The Prince Of Tennis
The stage revealed that the Blu-ray/DVD for the Prince of Tennis film will be released on Mar 30, 2022.
Dragon Ball Super
Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero To Release On April 22 In Japan
The Dragon Ball Super stage at Jump Festa 22′ revealed a new PV along with staff and cast details for the upcoming Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie. The movie will release in Japan on April 22, 2022. Read more here.

BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Arc To Air In Fall 2022
The Jump Festa ’22 Bleach panel event, revealed a new promotional video and visual for the previously announced adaptation of the Final Arc in Bleach manga – “Thousand-Year Blood Arc”. The video reveals that the anime will premiere as a television anime in October 2022. Read more here.

Chainsaw Man
Chainsaw Man Manga Part 2 Launches On Shonen Jump+ In Early Summer 2022
The official Twitter account of Chainsaw Man streamed a teaser PV for the upcoming Chainsaw Man Part 2 manga, following the Jump Festa 2022 interview with Chainsaw man creator Tatsuki Fujimoto and editor Shihei Lin on Dec 18, 2021. The second part of the manga will begin serialization in Shonen Jump+ in early Summer 2022 and will feature the “Gakkō-hen” (School Arc).
Chainsaw Man Anime Will Air in 2022
The teaser also announced that the Chainsaw Man anime will be broadcast in Japan in 2022. Read more here.
Platinum End Project
Platinum End anime voice actors attended the Super Stage EX event with original authors Tsugumi Ohba and Illustrator Takeshi Obata at Jump Festa 2022. A new key visual was released.
Kuhaku Gokko will perform the new ending theme song “Last Straw” for the show’s 2nd cour. The anime will continue in January 2022.

World’s End Harem
The panelists announced the revival distribution of the TV anime World End Harem from Jan 7, 2022. A pre-screening of episodes 1 and 2 including a cast talk show featuring LINK and Kotaro Shono will be held on Dec 30,2021.
It will be held on the official Twitter & ABEMA from 22:30.
BLUE STAGE
Aharen-san wa Hakarenai
Aharen-san wa Hakarenai, a romantic comedy anime revealed a new trailer at Jump Festa 2022. The anime will debut in April 2022.
Kana Hanazawa as Toubaru-sensei and M.A.O Ichimichi as Mitsuki Ooshiro joins the cast.
Undead Unluck
A color version of the Undead Unluck manga was announced.
Moriarty the Patriot
The Moriarty the Patriot stage discussed the creative process of the anime. No major announcements were revealed.
Ayakashi Triangle
A TV anime adaptation for Kentaro Yabuki’s ongoing manga, Ayakashi Triangle, is under works. The stage announced a new key visual to commemorate the news.

RED STAGE
Taisho Otome Fairy Tale
Yusuke Kobayashi, Saya Aizawa, Chika Anzai attended the Taisho Otome Fairy Tale at the Jump Studio Red stage at the Jump Festa ’22.
Mato Seihei no Slave
Akari Kito and Yuuya Hirose hosted the Mato Seihei no Slave stage. The anime revealed three additional cast members during the Jump Festa 2022’s Red stage. Yume Miyamoto (VA of Himari Azuma), Mari Hino (VA of Shushu Suruga), and Hina Tachibana (VA of Nei Okawamura) are joining the cast of the upcoming anime.
Yu-Gi-Oh!
The newest anime in the franchise revealed a new trailer, along with a key visual during the stage event. Yu ☆ Gi ☆ Oh! Go Rush begins broadcasting in April 2022.

Haikyuu!
The stage focused on the 10th anniversary of the anime and promoted various collaboration events and merchandise lineup. Ayumu Murase and Kaito Ishikawa attended, with a special appearance by Kenji Nojima.
DAY 2: December 19, 2021 (Sunday)
SUPER STAGE
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba
The Jump Festa ’22 event on Sunday revealed that Koyoharu Gotouge‘s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga is inspiring a traditional Noh-Kyōgen stage play that will run in Tokyo and Osaka in summer and winter 2022. Mansai Nomura II will appear in the play and will also direct it.
The Demon Slayer panel consisted of Natsuki Hanae (voice of Tanjiro Kamado), Hiro Shimono (voice of Zenitsu Agatsuma), Akari Kito (voice of Nezuko Kamado), Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (voice of Inosuke Hashibira), and Katsuyuki Konishi (voice of Tengen Uzui) who conversed amongst themselves regarding their experiences while playing their respective characters, and how different the Entertainment District Arc was from the preceding Mugen Train Arc.
Jujutsu Kaisen
A new trailer for the upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie was revealed during the event. The video previews the theme song “Itto” (The Only Way) by King Gnu.
Jujutsu Kaisen is also getting a stage play in July 2022. The panel started with the main cast doing a live reading on Super Stage and sharing their favorite moments from season 1.
Dr. Stone
Season 3 of Dr. Stone TV anime was announced for 2023, along with a TV special about Ryusui which will broadcast in Summer 2022. The event revealed a promotional video for both works and a visual for Dr. Stone: Ryusui special.

My Hero Academia
My Hero Academia Season 6 To Air In Fall 2022
Shueisha’s Jump Festa ’22 event revealed that the sixth season of the My Hero Academia anime will premiere in fall 2022. The event also revealed a new trailer. Read more here.
My Hero Academia Will End Within A Year, Says Horikoshi
My Hero Academia stage panel at Jump Festa 2022 event, screened a special message from the manga creator, Kohei Horikoshi, which indicated his plans to end the manga within a year. Read more here.
One Piece
One Piece Film Red Reveals Character Designs
Shueisha’s Jump Festa ’22 event revealed the character designs for the main Straw Hat Crew for the upcoming One Piece Film Red anime film set to release on Aug 6, 2022.
The event also showed a video featuring the cast of the Netflix live-action adaptation, which featured the actors talking about being on set and that they “can’t wait” for the production to start.
Additionally, the stage featured a written message from Eiichiro Oda, stating that fans should look out for Luffy in the next year, and teasing the “many mysteries” about Shanks.
BLUE STAGE
Blue Exorcist
The stage was actually a special video in which Nobuhiko Okamoto (Rin Okamura) and Jun Fukuyama (Yukio Okamura) visit Kazue Kato, the creator of Blue Exorcist at their studio. The author of Blue Exorcist, portrayed by a plush toy bunny, shared their working and living space with the viewers.
Mashle: Magic and Muscles
The panel included a trivia quiz about the manga. A special PV (with voice acting and music) of the manga was also revealed.
Summer Time Rendering
A new key visual was revealed during the Jump Festa 2022 panel, along with a new trailer for the upcoming anime adaptation. Studio OLM is animating the series.

RED STAGE
Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku
The Jump Festa ’22 event revealed a new teaser trailer and visual for the television anime adaptation of Yūji Kaku‘s Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku manga. The video reveals the anime’s staff, including the show’s animation studio MAPPA.

Kemono Jihen
Kemono Jihen anime voice actors Natsumi Fujiwara (VA of Kabane Kusaka) and Ayumi Murase (VA of Akira) were guests on the panel, with Chiaki Matsuzawa as the host. No new information about the anime.
Rurouni Kenshin
Rurouni Kenshin Gets New TV Anime by Liden Films
Rurouni Kenshin manga is getting a new television anime project at LIDEN FILMS. The event did not reveal any other details about the anime. Aniplex is streaming a teaser video to announce the work.
Black Clover
Jump Festa ’22 event revealed a new visual for the Black Clover anime film, this time featuring Yuno.

The teaser for the upcoming Black Clover game was also re-revealed.
