Jujutsu Kaisen Manga Cumulative Circulation Tops 650% To 55 Million Copies!

The 16th volume had 2 million copies in its initial run, putting the manga at 50 million copies in when it shipped on June 4.

A report from Shueisha confirmed on Monday that the cumulative circulation of Gege Akutami’s “Jujutsu Kaisen” manga series, including print, digital version, and unsold copies, will have exceeded 55 million with the release of the 17th compiled book volume on October 4.

They have also announced the upcoming 17th Volume will have a whopping 2.15 million copies on the initial print run.

This is the biggest print run for a Weekly Shonen Jump series after One Piece‘s 4.05 million copy print run for its 67th volume, and Demon Slayer‘s print run of 3.95 million copies for its last volume.

The manga’s circulation rose about 650% since the premiere of its anime adaptation last October.

The first edition of the 15th Volume released on March 4 was alone about 1.5 million copies — the first time that any of the manga’s volumes has had more than 1 million copies in its initial run.

The 16th volume had 2 million copies in its initial run, putting the manga at 50 million copies in when it shipped on June 4.
