JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure announced on Thursday, May 19, 2022, that the franchise will hold a special exhibition to commemorate 10 years of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime which first aired in 2012.
The exhibition titled “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Anime 10th Anniversary Exhibition” will be held from Aug 10, 2022 to Sep 4, 2022 at Sunshine City Exhibition Hall C in Tokyo and will tour nationwide including Hokkaido, Niigata, Aichi, Osaka, and Fukuoka prefectures.

Illustrations, storyboards of animation production, and screening of special images tracing the 10-year history of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime in addition to running lotteries and talk shows will feature in the exhibition.
Previously, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure‘s 10th Anniversary Project announced a collaboration with the Tokyo Sky Tree tower called “JOJOTREE: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure in Tokyo Sky Tree” which started on May 10, 2022 and will be held till Aug 9, 2022.
Furthermore, JOJO WORLD 2, a limited-time theme park where visitors can experience the world view, will be held nationwide, starting from Ikebukuro, Tokyo, on Aug 10 at Sunshine City.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki. It was originally serialized in Shueisha’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1987 to 2004, and was transferred to the monthly seinen manga magazine Ultra Jump in 2005.
The series is divided into nine story arcs, each following a new protagonist bearing the “JoJo” nickname. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is Shueisha’s largest ongoing manga series by volume count, with its chapters collected in 130 tankōbon volumes as of May 2021.
An anime adaptation of series by David Studios aired in Oct 2012. As of Dec 2021, the studio has produced five seasons adapting through the manga’s sixth part, Stone Ocean.
The 2nd part of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean will stream on Netflix this fall. A new trailer and visual for the series were released at AnimeJapan 2022.
