Yusuke Kobayashi, the Japanese voice actor behind Subaru Natsuki from Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World, and Yumi Uchiyama, known for voicing Puck in the anime, have announced their marriage.
The couple shared the news on their respective X accounts on Dec 31, 2024.
Kobayashi expressed his gratitude, stating, “I would like to share that I, Yusuke Kobayashi, have married fellow voice actor Yumi Uchiyama. I deeply appreciate everyone who has supported me thus far and will continue to strive forward with gratitude. Thank you for your continued support and encouragement.“
Uchiyama shared a similar heartfelt message: “I would like to announce that I, Yumi Uchiyama, have married fellow voice actor Yusuke Kobayashi. I will continue to pursue my career with gratitude while supporting each other. Thank you for your ongoing support.“
Beyond Re:Zero, Kobayashi has portrayed other iconic characters like Senku Ishigami in Dr. Stone, Arthur Boyle in Fire Force, among others.
Uchiyama is also well-known for her work as Rudeus in Mushoku Tensei, Mare Bello Fiore in Overlord and Erika Chiba in The Irregular at Magic High School.
