A Japanese girl announced her marriage to Yoichi Isagi on TikTok, following his winning goal against the U-20 Japan team in Blue Lock season 2 finale.
The post went viral in no time, with the wedding photos taking social media platforms by storm. The girl can be seen dressed in bridal attire, standing next to the cutout in a real-life wedding ceremony in the photos.
The Japanese girl’s Tiktok account features content that revolves around her admiration for Isagi.
The account’s name, “kintsuba 41,” references Isagi’s favorite traditional Japanese sweet, kintsuba. The profile description features Isagi’s quote, “Move for the sake of my goal”.
Prior to the wedding, the account shared updates about the preparation process.
On Nov 2, a video showed the user trying on her wedding dress, which she later wore for the ceremony. On Dec 27, the day before the season finale aired, she posted a photo of a Christmas and wedding cake she claimed took over four hours to make.

This isn’t the first time such an incident has occurred. A Japanese man named Akihiko Kondo married the fictional Vocaloid character Hatsune Miku in 2018 during a formal wedding ceremony.
Kondo’s relationship with Miku began as a source of comfort during a challenging period in his life. He later held a wedding ceremony.
Similarly, a man from Korea married a body pillow of a character named Fate Testarossa from the anime series Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha in 2010.
