To commemorate Mother’s Day on May 14, 2023, a Japanese website AnimeAnime conducted a survey asking fans who their favourite anime mothers were.

The survey, which was conducted from April 28 to May 5, had a received a total of 586 responses, the result of which was published on May 14, 2023.

Yor Forger from Spy x Family was ranked #1 in the best anime mothers according to the survey results, with Ai Hoshino coming in the #2.
