The official website and Twitter account for the In/Spectre (Kyokō Suiri or Invented Interface) anime series announced on May 2, 2022, that Season 2 of the anime is postponed from the previously scheduled Oct 2022 to Jan 2023.
The official announcement stated that the delay happened due to “various reasons”.
Makoto Furukawa will voice Masayuki Muroi, and Aoi Yuki will voice Yuki-Onna.
Brain’s Base is animating the second season with Keiji Gotoh as the director. Noboru Katagi is on series composition and Kentaro Matsumoto is once again doing character designs. More staff members from the first season will return. NAS is producing the project.
Crunchyroll’s original series In/Spectre had revealed a new trailer announcing that the new season would come to the service for members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
In/Spectre is a 2011 Japanese novel published by Kodansha and written by Kyo Shirodaira with illustrations by Hiro Kyohara and since volume 2, by Chasiba Katase. A manga adaptation with art by Chasiba Katase has been serialized since April 2015 in Kodansha’s shōnen manga magazine Shōnen Magazine R and since December 2019, also in Monthly Shōnen Magazine.
It has been collected in eleven tankōbon volumes. The manga is published in North America by Kodansha Comics. An anime television series adaptation by Brain’s Base aired between January 11 and March 28, 2020.

Iwanaga Kotoko became the god of wisdom to supernatural beings and spends her days solving problems for them. However, the boy who she fell head over heels for, Sakuragawa Kuro, is someone that is feared by all supernatural creatures. The two of them face various mysterious incidents involving the supernatural in this love x romance x mystery series. Where will these fantastical incidents lead them and what will happen with Kotoko’s crush?
