Hunter x Hunter Reveals Special Trailer Featuring Gon & Killua

Voice actors of Gon and Killua made a comeback for the video.

The official YouTube account of Jump Comics Channel dropped a special Hunter x Hunter Gon x Killua promo video on Oct 27, 2022, where the voice actors Megumi Han (Gon) and Mariya Ise (Killua) respectively made a comeback after years to voice the characters for the video.

The PV was released to commemorate “Yoshihiro Togashi Exhibition -PUZZLE-” that will take place starting Oct 28, 2022, at Mori Arts Center Gallery, Tokyo, as well as the return of the manga after a long hiatus and the publication of Volume 37.

Volume 37 will release on Nov 4, 2022.

Hunter x Hunter officially returned with new chapters after nearly four years since it went on a hiatus in 2019. The manga resumed on Oct 24, 2022, in Japan with chapter 391.

Author Yoshihiro Togashi recently revealed in his tweet on Sep 5, 2022, that he had finished working on volume 38 of the manga.

Hunter × Hunter has been serialized in Shueisha’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump since March 1998, although the manga has frequently gone on extended hiatuses since 2006. Its chapters have been collected in 36 tankōbon volumes as of October 2018.

The manga have over 84 million copies in circulation as of July 2022.

Hunter × Hunter was adapted into a 62-episode anime television series produced by Nippon Animation and directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi, which ran on Fuji Television from October 1999 to March 2001. Three separate original video animations (OVAs) totaling 30 episodes were subsequently produced by Nippon Animation and released in Japan from 2002 to 2004.

A second anime television series by Madhouse aired on Nippon Television from October 2011 to September 2014, totaling 148 episodes, with two animated theatrical films released in 2013.
