Horimiya Manga To Return With New Chapters In July 2023

It was recently revealed that Daisuke Hagiwara and Hero’s romance, slice-of-life manga Horimiya will be returning with new chapters starting July 2023.

According to source, 3 new chapters are set to release starting with Monthly G-Fantasy issue 8/2023, which will be published on July 18, 2023.

Moreover, a 17th volume of the manga, titled “A piece of memories,” containing the new chapters with extra content will also be released. A 3rd Twitter Illustration Artbook by Hagiwara Daisuke will also be made available.

Horimiya manga had ended on March 18, 2021.

Hori-san to Miyamura-kun is a Japanese shonen web manga series written and illustrated by Hiroki Adachi, under the pseudonym Hero. It was self-published on Hero’s website, Dokkai Ahen, from February 2007 to December 2011 in a four-panel format.

The series received a print publication by Square Enix, who compiled the chapters in ten volumes under its imprint Gangan Comics from October 2008 to December 2011. Additional side-story chapters were compiled as Hori-san to Miyamura-kun Omake.

Hori-san to Miyamura-kun was adapted into six original video animation series.

Daisuke Hagiwara adapted the manga under Hero’s supervision under the title Horimiya, which was serialized in Monthly G Fantasy from October 2011 to March 2021, and is published in English by Yen Press.

An anime television series adaptation of Horimiya produced by CloverWorks aired from January to April 2021. A live action and TV drama adaptation premiered in February 2021.

A second anime series, titled Horimiya: Piece, is set to premiere in July 2023.
