Haikyu!! Manga’s 10th Anniversary One-shot Launches On Shonen Jump, Manga Plus

The one-shot focuses on Kuroo, who will bring his high school friends to hold a special match that transcends the boundaries of the national and affiliated teams.

Haikyu!! special one-shot titled, A Party Reignited, launched in Japan on April 24, 2022. Shonen Jump App and Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service both digitally published the manga in English.

Shueisha released the new one-shot in the combined 21st and 22nd issues of Weekly Shonen Jump in Japanese. The chapter has a center color page.

The 19-page one-shot was made to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the original manga Haikyu!!. It features Tetsuro Kuroo. He works in the Japan Volleyball Association Competition Promotion Division, and will bring his high school friends who are active as the world’s top players to the event in order to hold a special match that transcends the boundaries of the national and affiliated teams to increase the number of volleyball fans.

The one-shot was published to commemorate the Haikyuu x V. League All-Star Special Match scheduled for Aug 13-14, 2022.

Haruichi Furudate‘s Haikyu!! manga began serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2012 to July 2020. The chapters were collected into forty-five tankōbon volumes. The plot follows Shoyo Hinata, a boy determined to become a great volleyball player despite his small stature.

Haikyu!! received an anime adaptation by Production I.G in 2014. The anime went on to have three more seasons, with the second cour of Season 4, which had 12 episodes, airing from October to December 2020.
