To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Enter the Dragon, Bruce Lee’s daughter, Shannon Lee, unveiled the first ever Bruce Lee anime project in collaboration with Bruce Lee Entertainment and content platform Shibuya, co-founded by acclaimed artist Emily Yang, on Aug 10, 2023.

The anime project is titled “House Of Lee” and will premiere in 2024.

A new teaser trailer was revealed to commemorate the announcement.

House of Lee will be an action-fantasy anime series that follows Bruce Lee as he assembles his Dragon Warriors in a race against time to prevent the world from descending into darkness and shadow.

The series draws inspiration from a memorable Bruce Lee quote, “Those who are unaware they are walking in darkness will never seek the light.”

“Anime is an amazing medium for telling a truly creative story where Bruce Lee can be Bruce Lee. I’m so excited for the possibilities for action, fantasy, history, culture, and creativity within this medium,” commented Shannon Lee.

Shannon Lee’s decision to partner with Shibuya was influenced by her admiration for their previous work, particularly the White Rabbit anime short co-created by Emily Yang. Shibuya and Bruce Lee Entertainment are independently producing the project through a community campaign.

“I love Emily and Shibuya’s perspective. They are such creative, hardworking, skilled artists with an amazing brand, I just knew that they would be perfect collaborators. The organic way it all came together spoke volumes of our potential collaboration, and it’s been great!,” Shannon Lee emphasized.
