Fire Force Season 3 Episode 2 begins after the arrest of Obi Akitaru and his Squad 8 is shown to be shaken to their core but not disappointed. They have decided to face all adversaries even if it’s the Tokyo Empire itself. This conviction leads them to one of the most notorious characters in the series i.e. Joker.
Joker has always been working against the empire from the shadows and being one of the people with an Adolla Link he can decipher the true meaning of the world unlike most of the Squad 8 members. Also, his previous criminal activities have taught him how to be off the grid something the Squad 8 members need to learn right now.
Joker calls it as being the Dark Hero. Whereas, he calls Obi and Shinra white lights that can help steer the world towards the true God. While Joker and Squad 8 are planning on how to get Obi out, the rest of the empire has already declared Obi as a terrorist for hiding Shinra, a person with Adolla Burst, and the entire Squad 8 as his accomplice.

Fire Force season 3 episode 2 also shows that labelling Obi and Squad 8 as terrorists has driven a wedge between various members of the other Squads such as Benimaru, Princess Hibana, etc and the Tokyo Empire. However, the civilians seem to trust the government more than the Squad members.
Despite not believing the lies the empire is telling them, all the other squad members are trying to capture Shinra and his teammates. Amidst all this, Burns who is now completely overturned towards the White Clad’s faith insists on letting the insect bite Obi and turn him into an infernal.
Which, Shinra finds out through his Adolla Link. This causes more haste among him and his team members and they rush to Fuchu Prison to face Burns and the White Clad Gold head-on.
It will be interesting to see how two beings who have seen through the Adolla and lost their eyes fare against each other in a battle. Also, it will be much more interesting to see how Shinra with his newly achieved Adolla Burst does against the strongest fighter of the Tokyo Empire.
The battle will be legendary. Talking about the episode, the animation and the background music give the perfect feeling of eerie tension running throughout the country and even between humans. This makes your heart pound slowly but hard while watching the episode.
Although animation is something the studio is famous for in this episode the BGM, the storyboarding and the direction take the cake. It makes the episode much more worthwhile. As for the next episode, get ready for some banger fight scenes.
