Fairy Tail & Eden’s Zero author Hiro Mashima, Dr. Stone illustrator Boichi and Space Brothers creator Chuya Koyama drew a special promo illustration for Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, to commemorate its release in Japan on May 4, 2022.
The illustration features each artist’s version of Dr. Stephen Strange from the movie.
Marvel had earlier teamed up with Hololive, using Japan’s most popular V-tubers to promote the movie, as they recreated the poster of the movie essentially creating a crossover.
The collaboration was revealed on the official twitter account of Hololive.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is an upcoming movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, intended to be the sequel to Doctor Strange (2016) and the 28th film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The movie is produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures
The sequel is directed by Sam Raimi, written by Michael Waldron, and stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange, alongside Elizabeth Olsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Rachel McAdams.
In the movie, Strange and his allies travel into the multiverse to face a mysterious new adversary.
