GKIDS announced Oct 19, 2022, that they will be screening Evangelion 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon A Time anime film across U.S. in select IMAX theatres on Nov 30, 2022, prior to its December screening.
It was previously announced that GKIDS along with Fathom Events will be screening Evangelion 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon A Time anime film in the U.S. theatres on Dec 6, 8, and 11. The film will be screened in Japanese with English subtitles.

Misato and her anti-NERV group Wille arrive at Paris, a city now red from core-ization. Crew from the flagship Wunder land on a containment tower. They only have 720 seconds to restore the city. When a horde of NERV Evas appear, Mari’s improved Eva Unit 8 must intercept. Meanwhile, Shinji, Asuka, and Rei (Provisional Name) wander about Japan.
Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time is a 2021 Japanese epic animated science fiction film co-directed, written and produced by Hideaki Anno. Produced by Studio Khara.
After a protracted development and multiple delays, Thrice Upon a Time was released on March 8, 2021, to positive reviews, and became the highest-grossing film of the franchise, and the second-highest-grossing Japanese film of 2021 at 10.28 billion yen.
The film was then released worldwide on the Amazon Prime Video streaming service on Aug 13, 2021.
