Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero Movie Unveils 2nd Part Of New Special Video

This is the 2nd part of a three-part trailer set to release over three weeks.

The official Twitter account for the upcoming Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie unveiled a new 30-second special promo video on Friday, June 3, 2022. The video features Piccolo, Gohan, and Videl, where Piccolo is asked to pickup Pan from her school.

This is the 2nd part of a three-part trailer set to release over the course of three weeks. The first special promo video was released on on Friday, May 27, 2022.

The Dragon Ball Super franchise also unveiled 3 more 15-second promo videos for the movie before the current video was released.

In addition, the official website also released the schedules and venues for a special screening of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie in 5 major cities in Japan, which will commence on June 10 at 00:00 (June 11).

The full schedule is as follows:

  • Hokkaido: United Cinema Sapporo
  • Tokyo: Shinjuku Wald 9
  • Aichi: Midland Square Cinema
  • Osaka: Umeda Burg 7
  • Fukuoka: T-Joy Hakata

The special screening will also feature cast comment videos.

Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie will open in Japan on June 11 before its global release. The movie will get a stage greeting on the same day at Shinjuku Wald 9. Voice actors Masako Nozawa, Toshio Furukawa, Miyu Irino, Hiroshi Kamiya, Mamoru Miyano and director Tetsuro Kodama will be in attendance.

Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, was scheduled to be released on April 22 in Japan and was slated to open in North America this summer, however, it was postponed due to the Toei Animation hack on March 6.

Crunchyroll announced the release of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie globally, while Sony Pictures India hinted towards an Indian theatrical release of the movie.

The fully 3DCG film is being directed by Tetsuro Kodama at Toei Animation, and Naoki Satō is composing the music. Nobuhito Sue is the art director, Chikashi Kubota is the animation director, and Jae Hoon Jung is the CG director.

Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is the second film to be released for the Dragon Ball: Super series and will be the 21st overall in the entire Dragon Ball franchise.
