Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero Movie Sells 1 Million Tickets

The movie is set to release in US and India on August 19 and August 26, respectively.

The official Twitter account of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie announced on June 24, that 1 Million tickets were sold 12 days after its release. The movie was released in Japanese theatres on June 11, 2022.

To commemorate the milestone, the studio, TOEI Animations, will be streaming the first 5 minutes of the movie on its YouTube channel.

The stream will be available from 18:00 P.M today JST to 23:59 P.M June 26, Sunday.

The movie has earned approximately 1.2 Billion Yen. However, its predecessor Dragon Ball Super: Broly reached the milestone of 1 million tickets sold in just 6 days.

The movie will release in 4DX and MX4D from Saturday, June 25, and Dolby Cinema will start on Friday, July 1.

Last month, Crunchyroll and Toei Animation announced that Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie will release in US and India on August 19 and August 26,respectively, in theatres in both subbed and dubbed.
