Dr. STONE Will Receive A Special Chapter After The Manga Ends

The manga will reach its climax in the 14th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump releasing on March 7, 2022.


Dr. STONE will be receiving a special chapter after the manga ends. The chapter will release before the Dr. STONE: Ryusui TV Anime Special airs in July 2022.

No further details about the special chapter have been released at the time of writing this article.

It was earlier revealed that Dr. STONE manga will reach its climax in the upcoming 14th issue of the Weekly Shonen Jump, which will be released on March 7, 2022, in Japan.

The manga had entered its Final Arc in Shonen Jump issue #45.

The manga, written by Riichiro Inagaki, and illustrated by South Korean artist Boichi, started serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump in March 2017. Its chapters have been collected in twenty-two tankōbon volumes as of August 2021.

The story follows teenage scientific genius Senku Ishigami, who plans to rebuild civilization after humanity was mysteriously petrified for 3,700 years.

Viz Media licensed the manga in North America. Shueisha began to simulpub the series in English on the website and the Shonen Jump and MANGA PLUS apps in January 2019.

An anime television series adaptation by TMS Entertainment aired from July to December 2019. A second season of the anime series focused on the “Stone Wars” arc aired from January to March 2021. A third season is set to premiere in 2023.
