Crunchyroll announced on Oct 11, 2023, that they will be streaming the English dub of Dr. Stone season 3 cour 2, which is titled Dr. STONE NEW WORLD, on their platform starting Oct 12, 2023, on the same day as its release in Japan.

The cast and staff involved in Dr. STONE NEW WORLD cour 2 English dub have also been revealed.

Dr. STONE NEW WORLD cour 1 started airing on April 6, 2023, and ended with episode 11 on June 15.

Dr. Stone season 1, produced by TMS Entertainment, aired on Tokyo MX from July to December 2019. The second focused on the “Stone Wars” arc aired from January to March 2021.

A television special titled Dr. Stone: Ryusui premiered in July 2022.

Dr. STONE, written by Riichiro Inagaki, and illustrated by South Korean artist Boichi, started serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2017. The manga ended on March 7, 2022 in the 14th issue of the magazine.

The story follows teenage scientific genius Senku Ishigami, who plans to rebuild civilization after humanity was mysteriously petrified for 3,700 years.

As of April 2021, the Dr. Stone manga had over 10 million copies in circulation. In 2019, Dr. Stone won the 64th Shogakukan Manga Award for the shonen category.
