Dr. STONE Gets New Spin-Off Manga Comprising Of 3 Chapters

Over a year after Dr. Stone manga officially ended, the series is getting a new spin-off. According to reports, the new spin-off will consist of three chapters, with the first chapter containing 47 pages.

The plot of the new work will revolve around Senku developing a time machine.

The spin-off will start serializing next week in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #49. The first chapter will also receive a color page.

DR Stone 1

Dr. Stone is a Japanese manga series written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by the South Korean artist Boichi. It was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from March 2017 to March 2022, with its chapters collected in 26 tankobon volumes.

By December 2022, the manga had over 15 million copies in circulation.

An anime television series adaptation produced by TMS Entertainment aired on Tokyo MX from July to December 2019. Two additional seasons of the series have been produced; the second season focuses on the “Stone Wars” arc and aired from January to March 2021, while the third season focuses on the “New World” arc and premiered in April 2023. A television special titled Dr. Stone: Ryusui premiered in July 2022.
