Netflix announced on April 10, 2025, that the Devil May Cry anime is getting a second season.
While no release date has been announced, a newly revealed visual commemorating the announcement confirms that the new season is coming soon.
Netflix also revealed that the first season of the series had debuted at #4 on the global top 10 list, garnering over 5.3M views in just three days.
Devil May Cry is an adult animated urban fantasy action television series created by Adi Shankar and produced by South Korean Studio Mir. It is based on the Japanese video game franchise of the same name by Capcom
The first season premiered on April 3, 2025, on Netflix, and had 8 episodes.
Shankar described the series as part of his bootleg multiverse, which also includes Castlevania.

In this animated adaptation of the popular Capcom game and from the vision of Adi Shankar, sinister forces are at play to open the portal between the human and demon realms.
